I used this for my son's 6th grade year and daughter's 5th grade year. Great study of cursive writing and I would even suggest using it as a full geography supplement, as it is very extensive in information. I have and will continue to recommend this product.

My 5th grader and 8th grader have been working in their books all year and still don't complain about doing their geography or cursive!

We love this curriculum. They learn not only cursive, but also about our 50 States too.

I was really excited about this book because it always makes sense to me to combine handwriting with learning another subject. Geography is a subject we have a hard time squeezing in. This book has copywork about each of the 50 states, and then has the student answer questions about the content covered (to further practice both their cursive and their knowledge of US geography). However, not all the answers to the questions are provided within the copywork & information sections on each state, necessitating other resources to answer the questions. Had I known this, I might have chosen another book. My daughter ends up using Siri a lot to answer the odd questions that haven't been covered, since I don't have a second US geography book for her to reference. Also, the cursive is fairly small, so this is for a 2nd- or 3rd-year cursive student. It will take some time to finish. I allowed my daughter to take two school years to finish it.
