Author/Artist Review

Tell us a little about yourself.  I'm a veteran, Christian, homeschool mom with children now working in the aerospace and computer science industries. My husband and I homeschooled our children through high school.

What was your motivation behind this project?  I wanted to write about the beauty of Creation and help parents teach their elementary children about the Earth from a God-centered science perspective. Secular science books can be dry and merely state facts for children to memorize. I wanted to teach children that our world is not a world of chaos, and that science is not a class. Science is a tool that helps us understand our surroundings. Our world is discoverable in the most wonderful ways and that is only possible because we have a Creator who loves us.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  This God-honoring textbook was written from my heart and soul. It is my prayer that as families explore creation together that they will fall deeper in love with our Creator. I hope that all who choose to use this book will see that science is a wonderful way to recognize God in all things.
