When we studied Zoology in our first year of Homeschooling, I enjoyed the spiral notebook with my child as it was easy for him to turn the pages and it lasted a LONG TIME!! He is gifted and he wanted to study it in KINDERGARTEN ,so we did. [He learned to read at 2 and 1/2 ;proficient by age 4~as I said ~gifted]. It took us THREE YEARS to go throughout the Flying Creatures ,but it was well worth it and we finished the Swimming Creatures in a year and followed with The Land Creatures in another year. BUT FOR HIGH SCHOOL???I am also going to CUT the spiral and put it in a proper NOTEBOOK. My child is NOT in Kindergarten anymore!!! Why do you CHEAT the public~we EXPECT to pay for a HARDCOVER IN HIGH SCHOOL!! i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BOOK IN SOFTCOVER FORM.

The notebook works so well with the textbook. Helps the keep the student organized. It is very big and heavy, so I warned my student to be careful with it. If pages rip out, we can put them in a binder.

Great resource to go alomg with. Biology textbook. it has lsb reports, vocsbulary and study guides for teats.
