Explode the Code has been a gift to our family. My daughter had been taught many of these concepts before but still had alot of trouble mastering them. She would always get frustrated, but she loves Explode the Code and does the activities independently! Every week or so I go through and "grade" her booklet and we discuss anything that she may have missed but usually she does very well. We are extremely happy with this series and will continue to purchase.

i like the progression and excercises for each phonogram. it works really well for my almost 6 year old. these books cover 1. reading, 2. writing and 3. spelling for each phonogram all in 1 lesson. i would recommend this workbook

Explode the Code books are my go to teaching lessons. There is a complete lesson for each vowels sound and the consonants.

The students quuckly become aware of how to tackle the task. I highly recommend this series of lessons.

We have been using explode the code for years. My boys like it as they can complete by themselves and dont mind the structure of the workbook.

my first grader is able to do the pages independently and I can check afterwards. so great when you have a larger family. my son is doing this after doing how to teach your child to read in a hundred easy lesson.
