These workbooks are an excellent way for students to practice and review sounds that make up words. It's the perfect workbook for a dyslexic reader!

We started this year off with book 1. It was more of a review for my daughter, which is what I wanted. We then moved into book 2 which was meant to be more on her level. This book is so confusing. She isn't having issues reading or understanding what is expected of her...the book just asks strange questions that even I don't understand. For example: Page 25 has 7 questions that should be marked with a yes or no. The questions are: Is the stem of a bud stiff? Can you get wet in a skiff? Can you stuff your clogs in a bag? Will a skiff have a spot? Will you step on the flag? In the hot tub is your skin wet? Will you stop if you slip on a step?

What the what?! This went from being one of her favorite school books (Book 1) to just an annoying thing to do in order to finish school. I don't foresee us completing this workbook.

Note: my "nickname" is teenager because my oldest child left a review on another curriculum. I am way beyond "teenager" status. :)
