He functioned on a 3 month infant level due to an intentionally inflicted head injury by his biological father when he was 2 1/2 months old. He was a perfect joy and I miss him terribly. This is the only book that I read that put my feelings into words-----it is extraordinary. The author understands grief like no one I'm aware of. It is comforting beyond words. I ordered 4 books to have on hand when the need arises. Without hesitation, I would recommend this book to a person who is suffering through grief.
Char5 Stars Out Of 5A lot of comforting and helpful information on grief in a short 25 chapter book.May 17, 2018CharQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This is a wonderfully written book by H. Norman Wright on experiencing the grief of losing a loved one or close friend. It's packed with comforting words, great information and easier to read than a bigger, thicker book on grief, especially right after a loved one passes away. It can be overwhelming for the person and or family members to concentrate on a longer book. I purchased this for my daughter, son-in-law, and 15 yr grandson when their 17 year old daughter, and sister passed away this past March from ALS. (Lou Gehrigs Disease) I read the book in one setting and it helped me so much. I plan on purchasing more of these to put in sympathy cards. Great buy and great price too.

I found it well written, with lots of scripture quoted. It helped to validate a lot of the feelings and thoughts I have dealing with this extremely difficult loss. I bought several copies to give other friends living with loss.
