Show your students the real lives of radical Jesus-followers Book your students for the ride of their lives on The 24/7 Experience. Theyll become part of the trip as they watch seven of their peers travel across the country to meet with some radical Jesus-followers. In an episodic, reality-TV style, 24/7includes interviews with those who are making a difference in the world: Shane Claiborne (The Simple Way, Philadelphia, PA), Gary Haugen (International Justice Mission), Damian Boyd (college minister and national speaker), Steve Fee and Candi Pearson (Passion recording artists), and Ralph Winter (Twentieth Century Fox producer of X-Menand X-Men 2). With seven episodes (each eighteen to twenty-two minutes long) and discussion questions for small groups, you can help your students learn about following Jesus, love, justice, unity, spiritual gifts, and being "in the desert."
Tim2 Stars Out Of 5DisappointingOctober 27, 2014TimQuality: 3Value: 4Meets Expectations: 2I had much higher expectations for this series. While the concept was good, and the video fairly well produced, each show moved at a very slow pace. The teens in this series suffered through devotional times that would put the most ardent believer to sleep. The expression on their faces led me to believe they couldn't wait for each day's events to be over so they could move on to the pizza afterward. The teens in my youth group felt the same way.
CariCNashville TNAge: 25-34Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5Great for Jr High/High School youth groupJanuary 8, 2013CariCNashville TNAge: 25-34Gender: femaleWe used this DVD for our 6-9th grade youth group. The group really paid attention to the experiences of the teens featured in the video, and it really helped our discussions. Some of the material is heavy, especially when they visit the center that deals with rescuing women and girls from sex trafficking. No matter how heavy or light the material, the discussions were always productive. After we finished the video we asked the members if watching it had changed what they were or were not doing in their spiritual lives. They all mentioned that they pray more for others and think more about other people's needs. Mission accomplished. I wish there was another DVD!

Some or the lessons are VERY eyeopening for them and myself. I like that the questions are read off the screen and they are disscussion questions. Allows for great conversation.
