God is everywhere, eager to reveal His truth and love to you.
This book chronicles the author's discoveries of God during her everyday activities--in kitchen and garden, around town, times with family and friends, and while traveling on vacations.
Organized into four sections--Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall--each page features a casual color photo, a short vignette with application, and a Scripture quotation.
Through her varied life experiences, with humor and insight Susan Roberts encourages readers to grow in their personal relationship with the Lord, and to look for Him everywhere, all through their day.
As you train your mind, ears, and eyes to see and hear the Lord, you'll discover that everywhere you look, there He is

Tell us a little about yourself. I am retired after working for twenty years with the Jefferson County School District, and traveling all over as a military wife. I love seeing God's beautiful creation, so my husband and I still travel, and hope to visit most of the National Parks. I am a graduate of Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL with an undergrad degree in English and secondary education, and a graduate degree in ministry. Besides my husband Perry, my family consists of three grown children and five grandchildren. I am currently working on a book about hearing God that should be published in 2019.
What was your motivation behind this project? I was walking and praying, asking God where I should serve. The word "write" kept coming to my mind. Our church has a prayer line that includes devotionals, and I was asked to help. I immediately knew this was where I was to serve. That was in 2011. Since then, I have regularly been writing devotions, and am amazed at how God reveals Himself to me in ordinary circumstances. I also pray that He will speak through me to touch lives. Numerous people have affirmed this, and have encouraged me to compile the devotions in a book.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? It is my hope and prayer that God will speak to people through these words, and that they will be able to notice God at work all around them. I pray that God will encourage, convict and motivate readers to seek Him, hear Him and find Him. God wants an intimate relationship with all of us. We just need to pay attention and listen.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Many times, when a devotion was due, I had no idea what to write. I have been amazed at the faithfulness of God in always showing up with an idea, and revealing Himself and His work to me in so many ways. I have also been grateful by the way He has answered my prayers to touch lives. Hardly a Sunday goes by without someone in our congregation telling me that God spoke to them through what I wrote. I am humbled to be used by God in this way.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I have been inspired by my world, especially by nature. I believe God's creation speaks to us about many aspects of God's character. I am also inspired by God's word. The Bible is truly God's living, breathing words which speak to each of us in personal ways through His spirit.
