Everything You Always Wanted to Know about Heaven is a great little book by Randy Alcorn. It is an edited version of his much larger and more in-depth book, Heaven. Though small, it is packed with information and Scripture verses! If you want to learn about Heaven, this book will be a good resource to help you study what the Bible says about Heaven.

Everything You Always Wanted to Know about Heaven is broken into five parts:

- Part I: The Present Heaven

- Part II: The Eternal Heaven

- Part III: Life on the New Earth

- Part IV: Can You Know Youre Going to Heaven?

- Part V: Gods Promises about Heaven

In Parts I and II, Alcorn uses Scripture to answer questions such as:

- What is the present Heaven?

- Do people in the present Heaven see what is happening on Earth?

- Where do we get our misconceptions about Heaven?

- If no eye has seen Heaven, how can we know about it?

- Is Heaven our default destinationor is Hell?

- Will the old Earth be destroyedor renewed?

- How will we worship God in Heaven?

In Part III of the book, Alcorn shares what we can know from Scripture about various parts of life on the New Earth. He writes about topics such as angels, animals, clothing, pets, sleep, work, and much, much more!

Randy Alcorn shares the Gospel in Part IV. Can you know for sure if you are going to Heaven? The answer is yes, you can! God clearly tells us in His Word how we can be saved from our sin so that we can spend eternity in Heaven with Him.

Part V of the book contains promises from Gods Word about Heaven. This section will help to guide your thoughts to relevant Scripture verses when you are worrying or having doubts about Heaven.

Everything You Always Wanted to Know about Heaven is an excellent resource. This little book will help you to dig into Gods Word to see what it teaches about Heaven, the New Earth, and eternity. If you have time and energy to read the larger version, Heaven, I highly recommend it. However, if you can only read a short book, this is the one for you.

One thing that has helped me to be content in living with a disabling chronic illness is learning about Heaven and the joy that awaits believers there. This has made it so much easier to let go of my dreams for this life as I look forward to the life to come. If you have never taken the time to learn about Heaven, I think you will find that studying what the Bible says about Heaven will be very much worth your while!

I recently had the pleasure of reviewing, Everything you always wanted to know about Heaven by Randy Alcorn. The book comes in a soft leather-like binding,with beautiful imprinting on the cover. The book itself is compact, easy reading with just over 250 small pages. The bulk of the book is written in a question/answer format which spans the scope of questions that are frequently asked about what heaven is like based on the Bible. Alcorn answers each question concisely, yet thoroughly, giving the reader the feeling that they have benefited from years of Alcorn's detailed research on scripture topics.

One of my favorite aspects of this book is that the understanding and answers imparted to the reader make you feel as though you are having a conversation with a Pastor where you can ask as many questions as you can think of on a the topic of heaven, but where you don't have to take his word for it, but rather it is outlined for you in scripture. By the close of the novel, it seems as though every question you can think of has been answered, and now all that is left is to make your declaration for Christ sure! Alcorn delivers, by drawing the reader to Jesus and His redemption for mankind on the cross. Alcorn pairs salvation in this closing section with a few topics where he lists scriptures that can be meditated on concerning fear over dying as well other staple topics that are often brought up by believers and unbelievers alike.

This book would be a great small resource to have on hand to answer questions concerning heaven quickly and efficiently. It would also be beneficial for scripture mediation on the glories of heaven and the hope that awaits every believer. As a gift to give, this would be perfect for someone who has not yet come to the Christian faith but has many questions, or even a brother or sister in Christ who would like some additional comfort and help in their study concerning heaven.

I enjoyed reading this book, and I know it will touch the hearts of others as it has my own.

Our small Bible Study had just completed a short study on heaven which left several questions

for which we could not find satisfactory answers. I ordered the book thinking we might find the

answers there. I didn't know that almost the entire book was a collection of Bible verses on heaven.

Those who have read it have found the answers they sought and it was good to know it was directly

from the Bible and not someone's idea of what our eternal home will be like.

This book makes Heaven so much more real to me. Before, it was hard for me to wrap my mind around what Heaven would be like. Now, I am looking forward to being there. No more anxiety but instead, a peace and joy to be with Jesus and my loved ones. Thank you Randy Alcorn!
