Considering this man has a large audience for some reason, if he's going to make assumptions about "what Jesus said" or what Jesus taught, it should be actual GOSPEL, not what Goff thinks might be in the Bible.

Nowhere does Goff site Scripture in many of this statements, which leads others to potentially believe false doctrine. He repeatedly states what Jesus wanted that has no bearing on Scripture and most of which is about works, not grace through Faith in Christ for salvation. Nowhere does he speak of repentance. This man is also OK with prosperity type gospel and has spoken at some "churches".

You want to tell stories and try to be inspirational, fine, but don't throw in some false doctrine based on lack of understanding of Scripture.

This book is just as amazing as his first book, Love Does. Once I start reading one of his books I don't want to put them down. I cant wait for his 3rd book to be released!

Bob Goff has a great sense of humor that will keep you laughing as you read this book. He also knows how to plug in some spiritual application to make you think and to produce change in your heart, mind, and soul. He communicated well with friends, and the general public, but he doesn't stop there. He goes a step further and puts in to practice Jesus command to "love your enemies." Bob is an attorney and he prosecuted a witch doctor who abused a young boy. After the witch doctor was convicted and sent to prison, the Lord spoke to Bob's heart to go visit this witch doctor in prison. The end result was a witch doctor who learned about God's forgiveness. God used Bob mightily to touch many lives for Jesus. May his example and his story communicate to our heart that God wants to use us to do the same.

I was already thinking about serving as a mentor with the Denver Rescue Mission. In the midst of reading Everybody Always, I signed up. That is the purpose and point of the book. "Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves" (James 1:22).

This book by Bob Goff is a "Can't put down book." One I'll read and reread often. Inspiring. Easy to read. Uplifting.... It can be difficult to love everyone, but his book is full of lessons and insights on following the command Jesus gave: Love as I have loved you.
