This book is one of my fav books of all time. I just love the romance, but it's still incredibly sad as well. I mean, she meets her future husband when he rescues her off a deserted island, where her plane crashed, and Josie dies, in the middle of a war, and the only reason he beached there was because they had to make repairs. I think my fav parts would have to be chapter fifteen and onward. I mean, all the parts behind Chapter fifteen are all right, all though there the saddest chapters in the whole book. But I just love chapter fifteen, because it's when she sees Rigg for the first time after he rescues her, and it is Love at first sight. Well, sort of. And the whole Max and Johnny thing, well, that was all pretty romantic too, all thought much prefer Mitch. I just LOVE this book. Keep up the good work,

This is an excellent book. The setting and time period is different from normal, which gives it an added boost. I expected the whole book to be about the plane crash, but was pleasantly surprised when the plot got over that and went on. I also enjoyed the subplot of Loraine's younger sister, Max. I think perhaps the character are a little too perfect, but I enjoy that more. I think it makes the character seem more mature. The one thing I didn't like was the way Loraine told EVERYTHING to her grandfather. I thought it was not only unnatural, but also aggrevating. Overall, the story was new, interesting, and sweet.
