An ESV Woman's Study Bible I am sure all Women will adore!

If you are like me and have only owned just plain old NIV and ESV Bible, you do not know what you are missing out on. I have used my Dad's NIV Life Application Bible and even an English to Portuguese bible, but this did not prepare me for what would happen when I opened my new Woman's Study Bible. In this review, my hope is that by the end you have not only gained a better understanding of what this Bible is all about but also, my hope is that you will go out and also purchase this bible. Every woman needs one.

My Bible friends, I was not ready to be this impressed with this Bible. This Bible has completely changed my time in the Word. It has brought me such joy to review this Bible.

    Features:

523,000 words of study note content

    350+ Scripture sidebars

Over 350 reflections on key passages

Explanation of the plan of salvation

    120 Bible character profiles

Introductions and timelines for each Bible book

More than 80 maps and illustrations throughout

    80,000 cross-references

Glossary with concise definitions of key terms

    Extensive concordance

    Overview:

The Woman's Study Bible (released August 27, 2020) is currently offered in three different bindings; Brown LeatherTouch, Cloth over Board Dark Teal Color, and a hardcover. The Bible that I chose was Brown LeatherTouch and let me tell you I have fallen in love with this cover. I do not know what it is with leather bibles, but I love them. They just seem to hold up so well! This study bible will for sure hold up well as it travels with me to different places. It is as beautiful as it is helpful.

This Bible is filled with beautiful art designed by Dana Tanamachi, who has been just gifted by God with beautiful art skills. Each chapter of the bible has a themed page with beautiful artwork designed by her. Throughout the bible, there is artwork that highlights key verses.

My favorite part, well the whole thing is my new favorite Bible, would have to be the commentary portion where each verse is broken down on the bottom of the page to better help you understand. This helps me so so so much! I often struggle to understand what is trying to be said. I have to look to my parents, peers, or pastors to help me make sense of certain verses. They also added definitions to help you understand. If you know me then you know how much I need this. I am constantly looking for others to help me understand what is trying to be said. This has helped me so much in my time with the Lord.

You do not know how much this bible has helped me dive into the word! It has helped me to be able to study in-depth the Bible and to help me better spend time in the Word. It also makes me more confident in my understanding of the Word.

My wife has never had a proper study bible so I when I saw this was being released, I preordered it. Crossway continues to be one of the most exceptional Christian publishers and they live up to that standard with the Women's Study Bible. The page layout is clear, elegant, and the gold lettering is lovely. My wife is very impressed and looks forward to using this bible for years to come.

The ESV Women's Study Bible is a mash-up of the original ESV Women's Devotional Bible's devotions (pretty much the exact same devotions) with the ESV Student Study Bible Notes (they have removed the "Did you know?" headings, as well as the "student" status, but the notes themselves are the same) packaged as this new product. While the notes are not as heavy, or as many, as the ESV Study bible includes, just because it's from the student's bible does not make it any less valuable or informative. If anything, I think that it condenses the more important key information into an easier format to grasp as well as a smaller bible that's easier to carry. The cross references are located at the bottom right of the page. There are beautiful illustrations of the books of the bible as well as key verses scattered throughout. It's the best of both a devotional as well as a study bible, with less fluff and more filling that would definitely appeal to women. All in all, I highly recommend this bible.

I have wanted a study bible for many years! While I enjoyed my Moms devotional bible, it lacked the biblical depth I really craved. I received my copy of this bible in the mail last week and I am so thrilled with the final product! Being that this is a new release, I was hopeful, but aprehensive.

Let me tell you, from start to finish, this bible is put together with the reader in mind! From the beautiful introductory illustrations of each book of the bible, to the thorough book history overview, to the reflections throughout each book, and finally articles and resources, this is a perfect tool for women who want to draw closer to God with a new Study Bible! *My only complaint is the transparency of the pages, but it is understansable given thw volume of pages.

This Bible has great content. It has a concordance, cross-references, commentary notes, maps, charts, and many articles called Reflections. The ESV text is clear in meaning and yet not difficult to read. The articles dig a little more in to what is taking place in the context of the passage and how that applies to you. This Bible, while it is geared for women, is not exclusively that. I love that this Bible has depth of content. If there is a negative for me, it would be the font size. My eyes would prefer it a little bit larger. Also, this Bible would be for any age woman. It is by far the best that I have seen or used.
