The large print edition is indeed larger (but not very large) print, which should not be a surprise, but it is a path not taken by many high-volume translations. (Yes, I'm calling out the NIV Study Bible here.) Unlike some producers, Crossways has reset the text in a larger font than its regular version rather than simply enlarging the page image and calling it a day. This results is this is much more readable text for large print readers. A Disadvantage is the pages are numbered differently than the regular version, which makes leading a group Bible study using both the regular and large print versions more challenging). Also, the illustrations are duotone, not full color, which is a tradeoff most large print users will gladly make. Contains the articles and resources section most ESV Study Bible users have become accustomed to, albeit is a smaller font, making these somewhat more difficult to read, especially for sustained reading. I'm pleased Crossways saw fit to produce a truly large print version of this excellent resource.

I am very happy with this study Bible! it is large, but it contains a lot of information! This Bible has extensive notes, charts, maps, and timelines. In addition, several major questions are addressed in the supplementary sections.

Since i started reading the ESV version of the Bible I have been wanting a study Bible. This one is wonderful. I like to compare the footnotes with my other study Bibles. I wish it was a red letter Bible as well but not complaining.

Best Desk Bible I have ever seen to include videos. Sure Color Pictures would be nice and premium leather as well, but this is the best text I have ever seen with helpful notes on every single thing and more. Love the double column in a study bible as well as large print.
