Love this version and all the study notes but having said that, I'm really disappointed in the quality of the paper used. The pages are super thin, tried several different highlighters and unfortunately they all show through the backside. Can actually see my finger through the paper. Yikes! Too afraid to underline with a pen as I don't want to tear the pages. The price was great but hindsight had I known this, I probably would have invested a little more for better quality. My copy has a fold/crease in each page up to Genesis 9, but it printed with the fold so I can still read the page. Bummer! A piece of useful info...the lg print version is 2.5 in thick so if you use a bible cover you will want to go for an XXL size. Most L sizes are only 2 in thick. CBD does carry a few. Hope that helps.

I am very impressed with my Bible. It is easy to understand. I like all the help that it has in t to make it more understandable.

Exactly what I wanted

Just recieved mine today, and I'm so pleased. I love the intros to each book, and the history of the old and new testiments. Since I ordered the large print the book is pretty thick, but thats ok since i can actually read the words :)

There's a lot of quality between the front and back cover of this really nice bible. The content, the paper, the large print. The binding is even sewn. I'm pleased with this bible. Do not judge this book by it's cover. The faux leather has a nice appearance. Not much to the touch, but not an issue. The material beneath the covering is what is lacking in quality. Very thin, causing the front and back covers to curl up. Imagine trying to carry a full, heavy bag of groceries in a thin paper bag.
