I had purchased ESV Student Study Bibles for two of my sons, and we've loved them. I was excited to buy one for my third child, and I was dismayed to see that the size is now smaller, and the color illustrations are gone. This was the "Celtic Cross" edition. In addition, the Bible no longer comes in a sturdy box; it's just in a thin paper sleeve. I am very disappointed that the design was changed and cheapened. I'll be returning it and trying something else.

I love the ESV student study bible tru-tone plum, it can be personalized and is incredible! One of the reasons I love this Bible is there are 900 "Did You Know?" facts, 120 Bible character profiles, and topical articles. It also features a glossary of key terms, more than 80 maps and illustrations, an extensive concordance, and 80,000 cross-references! The illustrations are incredible! I cannot even begin to tell you about some of the maps and the one of Herod's temple is great- I wish I could add pictures to this review! I only wish I had one of these years ago for myself when I was young, as it brings so much more information to the reader!

I bought this for my daughter and I loved it so much that I just got one for a very special young lady who is graduating High School as a gift. You will not be sorry about this purchase! For this review they wanted to know if it met expectations? YES- above and beyond for the value and price of this Bible!!!!

side note, I had a problem with the cover of my daughters Bible and they immediately took care of the issue- great customer service! This earns them 5 stars!

We purchased this Bible for our grandson, who serves our nation in the Armed Forces. We like the softcover option because he can bring it with him wherever he is delpoyed.

We both have hardcover, large print ESV Study Bibles as well. This Bible is exceptional in every respect.

We were hoping to purchase the ESV study Bible, (leather-like bound, $23.99) for our Son and daughter in law before the free shipping offer ended, but time ran out.

I'm confident that the Lord will provide another opportunity to purchase this Bible for them in His perfect will and timing, or provide for them in another, even more perfect way!

My son, who is working full time and is trying to complete his college degree, has a lot on his plate. I wanted to get him this Bible, so he could stay encouraged in The LORD; so, when I saw it on sale, I immediately ordered it for him! It is exquisite and TRULY a wealth of knowledge. I am considering getting one for myself, it is SO wonderful. Easy to read font, and just a privilege to be able to present to my son. BEAUTIFUL cover and perfect size. SO glad that I ordered it!

I bought this ESV Student Study Bible in chestnut for my college-age daughter for Christmas. She was very happy with the product. I think it's a great size for her to carry at school, and yet it still has quality study notes. The pages are not edged with gold or silver as many Bibles are (they're plain white), but she liked it anyway. We're very happy with our purchase!
