Some years ago my very expensive Bible had some frustrating problems with the binding. I swore (not really) that I would never buy an expensive Bible again. So I began buying good economical hardcover study Bibles. The most recent was the ESV Study Bible which is HUGE. I was frustrated by the size and tiny print (I'm getting old), so I decided to improve both frustrations with this Bible. When it arrived I thought my dreams had come true. It was very readable and the size is great. Just yesterday after a two or three weeks of use, I noticed that the binding seems to be letting loose on one section. That makes it difficult to thumb my way to any passage in that area.
This is a great Bible, the paper is really good for highlighting. The print is perfect and it still has the beginning notes before each book. The one thing I don't like is the cover, it says "Genuine Leather" but feels more like genuine plastic. it's too shiny and slips off your lap, but if you can deal with that... Then get this Bible. I have had it for almost a year and it still feels new.
