I have been looking at these journals for a while, and thought this set was beautiful. It is even better in person- the box is beautiful, the colored bindings look beautiful on the shelf, and it is so nice to be able to grab one book at a time. I love this purchase. These journals are a great way to study and take notes!! I take a lot of notes and don't have enough room in my Bible to write them all. This keeps my notes organized by book. Just grab a book and easily look back at your notes. I also take the book to church - whichever book we are studying- and take notes directly into the journal. If you like organization, get these!!!!!

I love these beautiful individual books of the Old Testament. I also have the New Testament set and the hardback Bible with all these books inside.

I am very happy with this set. The pros: beautiful, portable, large print, great paper, consistent ink quality, easy to hold due to light weight and smaller size, easy to read bold black ink throughout and of course, plenty of room to write or draw in.

The cons: few; mainly, the binding looks a bit sloppy despite having sewn binding, one book came damaged , and the ink bled all over the inside on the white box.

The set is worth getting despite the few flaws. For what you get, the flaws are easily overlooked. This would be a great gift to inspire someone to really get into the word.
