Esther: It's Tough Being a Woman - Leader Kit by Beth Moore helps a leader facilitate this women's Bible study experience and contains all that is needed to conduct the 9 weeks of small group time. Join Beth in a very personal examination of the Old Testament story of Esther as she peels back the layers of history and shows how very contemporary and applicable the story is to our lives today. If you've ever felt inadequate, threatened, or pushed into situations that seemed overpowering, this is the Bible study for you. Just as it was tough being a woman in Esther's day, it's tough today. This portion of God's Word contains treasures to aid us in our hurried, harried, and pressured lives.
Leader Kit includes:
- 6 DVDs (10 teaching segments plus bonus content)
- 1 Member Book
- 1 Leader Guide
- A DVD Promo Video
- Contains subtitles for the hearing impaired
Bonus DVD Content Filmed in Jerusalem
"A Visit to Modern Purim" is one of the Extras on your Esther DVD set. Beth Moore and the LifeWay video crew went to Jerusalem and got right in the middle of the festivities. Use the video from Disc 6 to kick off one of your weekly Bible study group sessions or as a part of the promotion for a future group study.
Is a writer and teacher of best selling books and Bible studies whose public speaking engagements carry her all over the United States. A dedicated wife and mother of two adult daughters, Moore lives in Houston, Texas, where she is president and founder of Living Proof Ministries.
Going up against heavyweights bent on her destruction, Esther trusted God and landed a blow that saved her people. The Old Testament story of Esther is a profile in courage and contains many modern parallels for today's woman. Esther's destiny can be yours as you know more deeply the God who is in your corner.
Cathleen Cole4 Stars Out Of 5May 12, 2010Cathleen ColeThere was as much in this study I cringed at as I applauded. Some of the research and interpretation seemed shaky. But what I found in other commentaries to agree with I liked.
Tiffany Schmidt5 Stars Out Of 5March 17, 2010Tiffany SchmidtI am about half way through this study and am loving every second! It is so spirit-filled, detailed, informative and at the same time very funny and emotional! The video keeps your attention and the workbook has unique questions that make you think. I would recommend it to any woman - Thanks Beth!

N S5 Stars Out Of 5May 17, 2009N SI had been married for 28 years. My husband had been a Southern Baptist Pastor for 25 years. He became involved with a woman in our church. He of course was asked to resign from our church. That left me with no place to live, nor a church and I lost many friends. He divorced me and married this woman. Later he divorced her also. During these past 11 years I have thought, prayed and asked God for a miracle and with just the introduction of the Esther Bible Study God has already showed me that I am to trust my providence even without my miracle. God is not finished with me yet. So with just this introduction I am so excited and look so forward to the rest of the study. Thank you Beth.
