Brookes Bible Institute5 Stars Out Of 5September 18, 2008Brookes Bible InstituteA great book for the beginning Greek student. Each lesson's sentence translation homework builds on the vocab for that week and previous weeks, plus presents new challenges to you.It is great to use with a class structure, but can be used on your own, but will take longer to learn.
Michael Carlyon5 Stars Out Of 5November 26, 2007Michael CarlyonThis book more than lives up to its title! The Bible school I attended used this textbook for our first year New Testament Greek class. After finishing the course, I was able to continue on my own. I taught myself the second and third year levels of New Testament Greek.Over the years, I have taught several first year New Testament Greek classes. This is the textbook I used for my students. It worked as well for them as it did for me. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. Buy it. Use it. Learn it.
Christina5 Stars Out Of 5August 27, 2000ChristinaI am a Seminary student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and I am currently using this book for Elementary Greek. Learning a foreign language has never been easy for me so last spring I decided to get a jump start on learning Greek. I checked out many different books on Greek from both the public library and a Catholic University library in town. None of the books I got from those libraries comes even close to being as good as this one. For instance, this is the only book on Greek I have seen that even bothered to show me how to write the alphabet. The print is also big enough to be able to read without a magnifying glass. The book explains concepts in a way that is much easier to understand also. I am grateful my prof. chose this book for us.
