Wanamaker has written a very good commentary on this epistle. He deals with all the important issues, and gives us an insight into the social-religious movement in the first-century Greco-Roman world. The exegesis is detailed and falls into line with other commentaries in the series. Students and scholars will be blessed by this commentary, especially those who want to know more about the neglected Thessalonian studies. I strongly recommend this commentary to all those who want to get a better understanding on these two Pauline epistles.
