Anthony Smith5 Stars Out Of 5November 2, 2007Anthony SmithBruce is THE MAN! I do not beleive one can do better than to read ANY of his commentaries (save, perhaps, the WBC on Thess). His insights are always fresh, clear and fair and his reverance for Scripture (with a big 'S') shines through. At the same time, his knowledge of the expansive body of contemporary literature and history is mind-boggling. Once again, Fred Bruce is THE MAN. Buy this commentary if no other on Galatians

David Smith5 Stars Out Of 5June 7, 2001David SmithThis is a great commentary. Bruce believes this to be Paul's first letter. He defends this by detailing his theory of the North/South Galatian controversy. Of course, Bruce has his own wonderful translation of the Greek text.
