It is highly regarded by evangelical scholars as one of the highest ranking-if not the best-commentary on 1 Corinthians. Although written for scholars, it is useful for pastors and lay persons who have some theological academic training and a knowledge of New Testament Greek. It is best suited for those who have the patience and determination to wade through this massive tome. It is unlikely that this volume will be superseded for years to come.
