Am I Enough? is wonderful book for teenage girls and young women. Based on her own experiences, Gace identifies the lies that many teens believe about their identity and self-worth. She talks about her struggles with these lies and how she overcame them through her faith in Jesus. The message of this book is: You are enough, no matter what you did, what you look like and what others think of you.

The cover is gorgeous and the style of writing is very accessible. I think that many teen girls can relate to Grace's experiences and will enjoy and benefit from the encouragement. In my opinion, there could have been a bit more of Scripture in relation to her own experiences, but overall, this was a very good book and better than some others that I have read about the same topic. Recommended.

This book is written for young adults--late teens to twenties. It is a wonderful book for anyone woman who is struggling from low self esteem and is constantly feeling like she is not accepted. Sex is discussed in this book, so I would not give it to a younger girl even though some of the messages would help younger women. The book answers many questions and offers God as the strength and only one who really matters. If our lives are turned toward God we can face anything. The more we accept God's love for us we will not feel the need to be accepted or enough. Having struggled when I was younger and having a very sensitive and anxious daughter I found this book extremely resourceful and with strong messages. I wish it had been around when I was younger and plan to save it for my daughter when she is older. (She is only 9 now.) I strongly recommend this book for any young woman because there are times when we all feel down on ourselves and often we are our own worst critics and this book helps to stop that.

I think many young women would enjoy this book and find a lot of helpful advice in it. For me, parts of it were helpful and other parts weren't as helpful. I thought the book might have been more helpful for someone younger, probably mid to late teens.

I was interested to hear what the author had to say about some of the lies, especially: "When you don't look 'presentable,' hide" and "Strong women cry only in the bathroom." I try to be open to learning when I read a book, and with this one, I did learn some things, but I felt like some of the lessons were ones I've already learned.

One thing I found interesting was her answer as to whether or not God ever gives us more than we can handle. She said that the truth is God does give us more than we can handle, but it's not more than He can handle and we are supposed to lean on Him.

I appreciated the author's refreshing honesty in the stories she tells and the advice she gives. The writing style is friendly and conversational. And I really do love that cover! It's one of the prettiest I've seen.

This book was definitely worth reading for me since I learned some helpful things from it. But I think some people will get more out of it than I did.

I received a copy of this book from Book Look Bloggers in exchange for an honest review.

This book is absolutely fabulous!!!! This dives deep into different lies we are told as young girls to adulthood and tend to believe about ourselves. This book truly hit me hard in the heart. I felt like God was revealing some things to me through Grace's writing. Grace has such a way with words that you get gripped into her writing and begin to really think about the way you live your life. This dives deep into insecurities and combats them with biblical truths. I loved that this book really forced me to think about my past and how it relates and/or connects to my present. Truly phenomenal. I highly recommend this book to and for all!
