Overall this book is fine. It's really provided a basic encounter for people to New Testament. The problem lies within the key terms that highlighted in bold fonts. Several of the key terms are missing in the back of the book. I wouldn't recommended this edition to my friends unless they solve the problem.
This a "text book" that is part of my college course. So far, I think it is absolutely great! The format and the way that the chapters are laid out, are really great. Especially if your a student in the study of the New Testament.
I have never read a NT survey book before, but I enjoy this one, as it includes, along with its wide coverage of themes, people/places, new: perspectives, updated information, ideas, evidences etc, critical considerations and special focuses, as well written books do. I find that each book, in small sections, separated by short or longer paragraphs, to be readable and presented fairly. The color pictures throughout are clear and beautiful. Also, the further readings within each chapter and more in Notes at the end of the book, offers interest for more good books.
