Empty Boxes

Aired 1/1/2012. Sermon: All of us are looking for meaning and purpose in our lives. We may be successful men or women, or down-and-outers, but we are all looking for that thing that will fulfill us. Unhappily, though, most of those things turn out to be empty boxes. They may be wrapped in what looks like success, or wealth, or happiness, but when opened they always end up being empty boxes. But there is one gift that when opened turns out to be the most precious, most meaningful, the most fulfilling gift of all.
