I will admit upfront that I am a fan of Joanna Weaver. She has a God-given talent to paint thought-provoking scenes with words. But what God also does thru Joanna is to individually reveal to the readers how He wants those painted words to be tattooed onto their hearts and minds so He can deal with them. Whether I am hiding behind modern day fig leaves or propping up my dreams as idols or having holy offenses, her words reveal vulnerability and healing. I once again wholeheartedly recommend Embracing Trust, and any of her other books as well.

Joanna prays the Holy Spirit meets us in the pages of this book and i can tell you He surely did meet me! This book is beautifully written by Joanna Weaver reminding us of how important it is not to just follow the Lord but to follow the Lord with you heart! Not half hearted but fully committed to Him trusting Him in every way to guide us through our lives. She encourages us to find contentment in what we have and let God handle the rest. if we embrace discipline we are humbling our hearts to His ways for our lives. We are trusting Him theough our prayers that His answers will guide us on our journey of life.

Joanna spent 20 years years on this journey of love and trust of our Lord. As you read this book let it be a reminder of how much love the Lord has for each one of us.
