Hello! I heard JoAnna on a podcast for Christian single moms. I was drawn in to her words so I looked her up. I was pleasantly surprised to discover she was releasing a new book- and on the topic my heart needs in this season! Although I have not had much time to pick up the paperback book I carry in my purse, I have listened to the audio book and have been blessed, comforted, and challenged. I am glad to have the words in print to review and continue to learn from. Blessings!

This book has been timely and amazing in so many ways! When I agreed to join a book club to cover this book I had no idea what it was actually going to do for me! Soon after I received my book and began reading it my mother became critically ill, and we have been faced with the reality of her mortality. Though this has been a hard chapter, I have been able to face it with true TRUST, as I've traced the words Joanna writes in this wonderful book. I have also brought my mother the gift of Salvation, as we prayed the prayer of Salvation together, that Joanna shares in the book. That gift will stay with me forever, as now I have peace when I think about my mother's passing, and my mother now has the gift of Jesus in her heart, no matter what may come. I will forever be thankful for this book and all that it has brought to my life in the way of "Trusting" God!

Embracing Trust is a necessary reminder today in a world where shaking and quaking are all around us. Encouraging us to stay the course with the One who can keep us in perfect peace in the storm and keep our foundation firm in Him. Highly recommend for yourself or a Bible Study. You will not be disappointed, but you might be challenged!

Joanna encouraged me to look deeper into trusting God with my life. She points out that perhaps one has not put their complete trust in the Lord in certain situations. Looking deeper into my life, I discovered I often rely on myself to meet my needs instead of trusting God. She does this in a way that you don't feel condemned but rather desire to change and put your trust in God, significantly when she adds her own stories.

Joanna Weaver has always been a favorite author of mine, and I love her honesty and relatability. She will not disappoint with her new bool, Embracing Trust: The Art of Letting Go and Holding On to a Forever-Faithful God.

The latest book by Joanna Weaver started speaking to me on page 1, just as I needed each message. As someone with a reading comprehension challenge it has been difficult to do much reading. But not with Embracing Trust. Joanna has once again shared words of wisdom from the Lord to us. The illistrations help reinforce the point being made. I highly recomment this book.
