Becky Murray is what Id call modern old-school she sees the need and answers the call with no hesitation. Shes a woman who isnt afraid to pay the price of full-time ministry and all that it requires. Im proud to call her and Matthew my friends. Over the last few years Ive witnessed Matthew and Beckys endurance and commitment to the ministry that God has given them. Its been fascinating to see how OneByOne has grown into such an incredible organisation that is reaching thousands of lives. OneByOne is a ministry that is fulfilling its name: focusing on the one, reaching the one, doing as much as possible for the one. God has blessed them with open doors and open hearts to reach one by one. I believe in what theyre doing and I look forward to the ways God is going to lead Matthew and Becky as they continue to press forward. For years Ive talked about the need being the call; it doesnt take a compelling word with angelic interpretation. All it takes is seeing the need and responding to that call. Becky Murray is an example of this. She sees needs and responds. Whether its street children in Pakistan, orphans in Kenya or girls at risk of human trafficking across the world, she is there, when these kids need someone the most; someone who is an extension of Christ at work. When I found out Becky was writing a book I wasnt surprised. Her story needs to be told and it needs to be shared. I know these pages will bless you as her stories always bless me. Ive spent time with Becky in the UK, in New York City at our Metro World Child headquarters where she has spoken to our staff and interns, and Ive visited their home in Kenya too. Ive been to some places in my time, but few are as remote as Bumala B, the little village in Western Kenya where God has chosen to pour out His Spirit through OneByOne. As you know, Ive never shied away from dangerous and tough environments, so without hesitation we decided to partner with Matthew and Becky and today we are reaching more than 10,000 children in this setting. Thats the power of partnership and thats why I love these guys. They just get it. More than ever we need people like Becky Murray who fearlessly say yes to the call of God. I pray that as you digest the stories and the lessons in these pages, you too will embrace the journey that God has planned for you. Bill Wilson Founder, Metro World Child -- Dr R T Kendall
