muffinHonea Path, SCAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Exciting Read!October 23, 2016muffinHonea Path, SCAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Diane & David Munsons Embers of Courage was an excellent novel! This husband/wife team are excellent authors. I will definitely continue reading their books. I also highly recommend them.
This novel focuses on ICE special agent Eva Montanna, as does the previous book I read. Although these books have the same character(s), you do not have to read them in order. They can be stand alone novels, also. Although this is a fiction novel, there is history intertwined with it. I am not a big fan of history, but the Munsons write in such a way that it makes the history exciting. There is suspense and some twists along the way.
I received this book from the authors for my honest opinion.
L. Betz4 Stars Out Of 5Lies, betrayals, and persecuted ChristiansFebruary 13, 2015L. BetzThis is not a leisurely read. As the back cover says, it is High Velocity Suspenseone thing after another with little time to breathe in between. It features a complex plot mixing modern day government agents hunting Romanian terrorists, an undercover sting gone bad, and a militant group killing Coptic Christians with a secondary plot involving the agents Dutch ancestors and their struggles with religious persecution. Add a renegade teacher making waves about students who stand up for their faith and you have a story full of action, danger and difficult choices about how to keep the faith.
