Publisher's Description

Ecclesiastes - a Small Group Course is designed to be a leader's guide for small group discipleship courses. The authors hope that it will help personal Bible study as well. It contains an expository commentary, chapter questions and answers to be used as discussion points and applications of Ecclesiastes for personal ministries. Author John Townsend is the senior pastor over the Church@Work, a work-place church organization which attracts many people who have never attended traditional churches. Church@Work celebrates all of the elements of a healthy, well-balanced church in 30-40 minute segments every day of the work week. Typical congregations are only 10-20 people. It is with these small groups in mind that this book is published. This course also serves well for Bible studies and Sunday school lessons for youth, adults and seniors. John and Susan Townsend are co-founders of MATTHEW 25:34-40 Ministries, a church, church association, and missionary support ministry based in San Diego. Both John and Susan are actively engaged in short-term missions and in providing solid discipleship materials to missionaries. John was ordained as a deacon in 1977 and ordained as a pastor ten years later. He is a practicing systems engineer who founded the Church@Work with his co-workers at an engineering laboratory. Susan has a PhD (Human Behavior) degree and is a retired Commander from the US Navy Reserve. Both John and Susan have taught Sunday School and Bible Study classes for over 30 years.
