Like most evangelical works of late, he disappointingly fails to uphold Solomonic authorship of the book (Garrett in the NAC is a happy exception to this trend). But this negative aside, Bartholomew provides immensely helpful exegetical insight and some insightful theological analysis. The book is well worth its purchase price. No serious expositor's library should lack it.
