Keturah rescued from certain death in the desert by Ishmael, she was brought to Abraham's dwelling to be nursed back to health. Abraham married Keturah and six sons were born to them, some having scripture references inferring they had providential purposes.
Abraham was over one hundred and forty years old when the six sons were born. Being adventuresome lads brought problems Abraham and Keturah had to deal with: one traumatic instance was after a disobedient trip to Sodom where demons afflicted and influenced the lads to act out weird activities. One of many problems they had to work through.
Abraham knew Keturah's six sons had to be sent away in order to avoid conflict with future descendants of his first wife Sarah and their son Isaac, heir to the Promised Land. Keturah's sons were educated sufficiently and had vocations to get them started in life. When would be the right time to send them away? If he sent them east where he hoped they would go, how far east would they go? And would they stay away?

Tell us a little about yourself. I have a family of six children. Two sons and four daughters. All doing well and raising families of their own. After retiring from a home based business, developed health issues restricting activities. Writing is exciting and a use of time accomplished by sitting so I got a computer, learned to use the difficult thing and here I go.
What was your motivation behind this project? Liking Bible history and character stories, thought maybe Abraham's six sons by his third wife, Keturah, may have something to do other than just be mentioned. They did. Fascinating study.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? That our Heavenly Father guides and directs to accomplish His plans and purpose in our lives. We will acknowledge Him when He reveals Himself and not just say, coincidence. To find the Bible exciting and interesting to really study it.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? As I begin to write, information such as the many multiple births like, Octomom, and then a lady in Egypt gave birth to seven babies and they all lived. Books, articles, and e-mails with information would appear at the time I needed it. All encouraged me to continue my quest.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I loved movies like" Exodus", "The Robe", "Samson and Delilah", and the many other Bible based characters stories are written about and movies are made. A novel about Dinah, Jacob's daughter, "The Red Tent", was very interesting.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I am a new author but an old reader, so if you could just look past this and hear the message, you will see I am trying to include the Jew as well as the Gentile. To exalt names of the Creator depicting His attributes and finally His saving name, Yeshua (Jesus).
