Weeks after serving on her high school's homecoming court, while doctors operated to remove the brain tumor that was killing her, Tiffany suffered a paralyzing stroke. In the nick of a scalpel she lost her beauty and most of her physical ability. Returning to high school in a wheelchair, head half-shaved and face distorted, Tiffany vowed to be normal and live the dream.
And for a season, she did. But just when the fairytale was within reach, God surprised Tiffany. Wooing her heart, God convinced her that there was something even better in store for her. And He has something better in store for you, too.

Like a lot of young women, Tiffany Smiling had been assured that the path to fulfillment looked like the one shed seen in her favorite movies: Shed be swept away by a soul mate, live in a southern estate, and start a family.
But Tiffanys story unfolded quite differently.
Weeks after serving on her high schools homecoming court, while doctors operated to remove the brain tumor that was killing her, Tiffany suffered a paralyzing stroke.
Wooing her heart, God convinced her that there was something even better in store for her.
. . .And He has something better in store for you, too.
Read Your Dream. God's Plan. and see how the Lord wants to use the broken pieces of your life for His greater plan for you.
Smiling's story will help you see the ways God is writing your own amazing storydesigned for His glory and your fulfillment.
Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Tiffany attended Oklahoma State University. During the summer before her senior year, she opened her own Orange Leaf Yogurt franchise and subsequently opened one other local business. Today Tiffany is utilizing her entrepreneurial skills to grow the kingdom of God through orphan care.
As a co-founder of Project Orphans, twenty-seven-year-old Tiffany has opened orphan homes in Uganda, Guatemala, Brazil and Haiti.
Convinced that when Christians truly know Christ they will go and make Him known, Tiffany has recently founded With All My Heart, an organization to equip this generation to know Christ deeply through the study of His word and, as a result, to respond to Gods call to serve the world. The With All My Heart Foundation, currently building the Childrens Village for Orphans in Haiti, serves children and others living in poverty around the world.
Tiffany Smiling is calling her generation to partner with God in redeeming the world He loves.

Bekah5 Stars Out Of 5Convicting and Challenging in Wonderful WaysDecember 1, 2017BekahQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This week, I read Tiffany Smiling's book Your Dream. God's Plan. I confess to you the book was nothing like I anticipated - in the best possible way. I chose it, because I feel like I live in a constant state of seeking to be smack in the middle of God's choice for me. Anytime I have the opportunity to learn from someone else who has similar passionate pursuits, I want to learn if I can. But I fully expected the book to be very how-to focused, and I steeled myself for a bit of preachiness.
I found none. And that's what I loved the most about this book. The author, Tiffany Smiling, had an unbelievable childhood and adolescence. She came through health battles that you and I could never even begin to imagine. Seizures, cancer, surgeries, a stroke...all before college. And yet God used that season of devastation to take hold of Tiffany's heart. Though she grew up in a more-than-comfortable home and family, she realized God had spared her life for more than mediocrity, and that pushed her to pursue God's plans over her own dreams.
The book chronicles Tiffany's story through her medical difficulties and into her quest to obey God, no matter what He asked. Better than a how-to, this book simply shows how-she-did and lets you draw your own conclusions on how these lessons could be applied in your own life.
Tiffany acknowledges (and even urges) that your journey will not look like hers. It's not supposed to. God called her to a very specific mission that won't match anything He asks of you or me. But in the details of her story, she teaches the importance of holding plans loosely, understanding that God's dreams are far better than our own, and comprehending that we can make a much bigger impact than we even realize.
I think if each of us adopted Tiffany's mindset and allowed ourselves to be used like she has, God could do amazing things through each of us.
This book challenged and convicted me. My own dreams look different in light of her words and my newfound understanding. Regardless of your dream, her story can encourage and motivate you! Thanks, Tiffany, for sharing your story in this book!

Johnnie Lu StephensAge: 55-65Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5Ideal for Women's Bible Study!November 28, 2017Johnnie Lu StephensAge: 55-65Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5The author shares her personal story of childhood cancer and how it forced her to learn how to view her priorities through God's eyes. She discovered in order to get close to God, we must know what breaks His heart, then choose to see what He sees, followed by our willingness to obey.
She has observed that "pouring our lives into the pursuit of our own happiness has not served us well." As a result she. developed a heart for orphan children around the world, relating her experiences ministering to children in poverty stricken areas of Uganda, Haiti, and Costa Rica.
She also includes the stories of others whose life dreams were interrupted by God's plans. However, we must learn how to follow those plans and she clearly presents the steps needed.
This would be great for a women's Bible study and there are questions for discussion at the end of every chapter.

AnnelrBrighton, MIAge: Over 65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Challenging and InspirationalNovember 15, 2017AnnelrBrighton, MIAge: Over 65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Your Dream. God's Plan. is an inspiring and challenging book by Tiffany Smiling, a young woman who chose to give up her dreams for her life and pursue what God has planned for her. Autobiographical in nature, Tiffany shares her childhood journey through cancer and its aftermath and then continues to share how God interrupted her plans for a comfortable life and enabled her to use her entrepreneurial talents to fulfill His dream of growing His kingdom. As she has stepped out in faith and followed His plan, she has been instrumental in building family homes for orphans, day care homes to enable parents to work knowing their children are safe, homes for girls who have been rescued from sex trafficking. Because of her obedience to God's call on her life, she has partnered with others to plant a church that serves a thousand people, and a seminary program that is training pastors to plant churches in their own villages. From Africa to Haiti and Guatemala to Costa Rica, the results of the author's change of priorities can be seen. Lives are changed. A whole village, which had never heard of Jesus, has heard and accepted Him and seen Him at work. As each story is related, whether it be her own or the experiences of people she has met, the author encourages the reader to recognize the need to offer one's heart to God and allow Him to infuse it with His life, His heart His passions and His plans. Throughout the book, readers are questioned and encouraged to think about what a surrender to God's plan and purpose for their lives might look like. There is also a section at the end of the book with discussion questions on each chapter to direct the reader to further introspection. Your Dream. God's Plan is a powerful book for those who desire to dream God's dreams and fulfill His plans for their lives.

Your Dreams, Gods Plans is a well written book about how God revealed His will and plans in the life of an ordinary young lady. She was ordinary in that she had the same dreams as any other young lady. Through the biography of her life changes, Tiffany challenges the reader to let go of the dreams and plans to achieve them. Trust God to reveal His plans to provide for achievement of His dreams for your life. Through the illustration of events in her life and struggles to be sold out to God, you can look at your own dreams and plans and begin to see what a difference God can make. It wont be easy and Tiffany does not sugar-coat the challenges.
The thing I like most about the book is that it does not jam down your throat the have to dos. You can make the choice to allow God to lead or not. It was a very interesting read.

jyoung4 Stars Out Of 5powerful!November 14, 2017jyoungQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4The author of this book has a great testimony! I loved reading about how God worked in her life and used her for his glory. It read like a memoir. The author clearly shared how God was working in her heart as she experienced life, challenges and highs. It makes you think about how you react to things in life and makes me want to respond in the right Godly way so I can experience the power of God in my life. Loved the summary of Main points chapter at the end. Nice easy read. Would have loved to have seen more scripture tie ins. I felt like there was a lot of great things but I was expecting more scripture. I felt like this made the book a 4 instead of a 5. I love to hear how God works in peoples lives but I want to see scriptural references when someone is trying to tell me how to live/think about life. I dont want opinion I want bible. Otherwise great easy to read writing style and a powerful story.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review. I was not obligated to write a positive review or any review at all for that matter.
