What a beautiful introspective work the Holy Spirit has written through the obedience of Cindi, emptying of herself and allowing Him to produce this work for us to gain insight and healing.
I learned about myself through the stories; the ability to understand others and concepts to share with those whom I disciple. You will be reminded about how we are made and how we fall prey to the injuries we sustain beginning at childhood, be they verbal, physical or self perception. Perfect for individual study and reflection [think of times waiting in car, lines, doctor appointments] as well as group studies. Be sure to have yellow stickies and a pencil; make notes and refer to them for encouragement, truth and insight about yourself and loving others through/during their drama.
Yes, it is possible, as the back cover suggests to dial down the drama in your life, respond to situations that would otherwise escalate, look at high-maintenance individuals differently, incorporate scene changes to eliminate drama and become an anchor in the storms that swirl around you. Consider the delight of a drama-free choice as you face each day. Consider Drama Free by an incredible author, speaker and friend.

Seems everywhere we look and everything we hear involves heightened emotions and flagrant expression. People of every age are leaving their patient and peace keeping spirit at the threshold and walking through the drama door. Almost seems like a new craze to pout, shout and stomp about!
Cindi's book covers the what, where, when, why and how regarding emotions and expectations from others, and it biblically addresses the way to avoid the drama mindset and culture. Everyone and anyone can identify with this topic and will be intrigued to discover ways to diffuse drama moments and reset the tone in a discussion or a relationship.
Each chapter has subtitles that help highlight the next thought and will keep you drawn to the content. Scripture correlates throughout the pages as different emotions and reactions are addressed.
There is an area in the book that offers thoughts and questions to facilitate a small group study. There are also wonderful and concise helps in the back of the book which serve as quick checklists in order to avoid or diffuse drama. "Drama Free" is jam-packed with so many helpful tools and lessons. I particularly love how the author offers a point, a truth, a focus and a prayer at end of every chapter. There is no need to look any further because this book has it all within it's two hundred and thirty pages!
tara5 Stars Out Of 5awesomeJune 19, 2017taraQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I bought this book for 8 senior girls I have bible study with. This book opened up some amazing conversation and growth for the girls along with myself. The great thing about this book is that it is relatable for older teenagers, young adults and older. The questions and thoughts to pray on through the week were great for a group setting. Every woman can benefit from reading this because whether we have drama or drama finds us, there is a way to live drama free.
Dawn5 Stars Out Of 5Drama FreeJune 19, 2017DawnQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0This book is a must read for any woman, or man, for that matter. I love how Cindi McMenamin gets to the point, right away, by reminding the reader that everyone has drama, and that it is either brought on by life or by how we react to situations. I appreciate the personal stories and scriptural truths that are read throughout the pages. The points and focuses, at the end of each chapter, are wonderful ways to help put into action everything that is being taught. Great book!
