To some, the concept of having faith in a higher power or a set of religious beliefs is nonsensical. Indeed, many view religion in general, and Christianity in particular, as unfounded and unreasonable.
Norman Geisler and Frank Turek argue, however, that Christianity is not only more reasonable than all other belief systems, but is indeed more rational than unbelief itself. With conviction and clear thinking, Geisler and Turek guide readers through some of the traditional, tested arguments for the existence of a creator God. They move into an examination of the source of morality and the reliability of the New Testament accounts concerning Jesus. The final section of the book deals with a detailed investigation of the claims of Christ. This volume will be an interesting read for those skeptical about Christianity, as well as a helpful resource for Christians seeking to articulate a more sophisticated defense of their faith.
NORMAN L. GEISLER (PhD, Jesuit Loyola University) is author or coauthor of some sixty books, including The Baker Encyclopedia of Christian Apologetics and his four-volume Systematic Theology. He has taught at the university and graduate level for nearly forty years and has spoken or debated in all fifty states and in twenty-five countries.
FRANK TUREK (PhD, Southern Evangelical Seminary) has appeared on numerous television and radio programs including The OReilly Factor, Hannity and Colmes, and Politically Incorrect. His first book, Legislating Morality: Is It Wise? Is It Legal? Is It Possible? (also coauthored with Dr. Geisler) won the Evangelical Christian Pulbishers Associations Gold Medallion award as the best book in its category.

DaBigHorseSouth ArkansasAge: 45-54Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5must read for any doubter or defender of the faithJune 30, 2016DaBigHorseSouth ArkansasAge: 45-54Gender: maleQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0this book is logically and rationally sound. it is philosophically on point. it is biblically solid in theology. there is a simplicity in the writing which makes it accessible and usable by the average layperson. i wish that it had been a textbook when i was going through college and seminary. best book i have read this year. it will go on my reread list and my highly recommended list. atheists and agnostics need to be put on notice that if they read this book with an open mind they will find God exists. for disciples of Christ who want an excellent resource to prepare them and give them ammunition to defend their faith, this book is the one to purchase first.

mike2 Stars Out Of 5it takes faith to believe this book!May 4, 2016mikeQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0I had high hopes for this book as a teaching tool but it turned out to be full of errors in both history and science. Very dissapointing to say the least. There were a few error-free chapters, but it is hardly a reliable source. It basically gives misinformation and passes it off as true. I don't think it is malicious deceit by the author but only a matter of him trying to write about stuff that is beyond his area of knowledge.
