There is joy, strength, and healing available to you in the midst of separation or divorce.
Things may look bleak right now. Your world is a mix of shock, anger, hurt, and hopelessness. Many of the people around you don't understand the depth of your pain or the complexity of the challenges you face. You feel rejected, betrayed, and exhausted. You wonder if the pain will ever end. But recovery from separation and divorce is possible.
In this 365-day devotional, you will meet men and women who have come through the darkness of separation and divorce and who now walk in the bright hope of God's love and healing. You will be encouraged and inspired by some of today's most respected and well-known Christian leaders and psychologists, including Kay Arthur, Dr. Tim Clinton, H. Norman Wright, and Dr. Tony Evans. The daily readings and heartfelt prayers in DivorceCare affirm God's love for you. You'll discover that the divorce process can be a powerful catalyst for good in your life, transforming deep loss into meaningful growth with God.

Want to be closer to GodAge: Over 65Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5Absolute necessity in conquering anxiety and fear!December 5, 2013Want to be closer to GodAge: Over 65Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I have purchased over 50 books from CBD, but when I was divorced in November 2013, I needed a resource to help me through the pain, alienation, guilt, anger, lonely days and nights, regrets and coldness left by sudden separation. Father God lead me to this wonderful, relief receiving, loving book by many contributing authors and psychologists who put into perspective all the things it is okay to feel and express so that healing can and will take place. Thank you Father God for showing me the way again.

A friend gave me this book when I was going through it. I read several other books during that time as well but this one was by far the most helpful to me. I have a friend who is now going through the same thing. I ordered this book for her.

I purchased several books on divorce and this one was one of the best. It takes many of the feelings and stages that a person will go through and breaks them down into short, manageable devotions. It is my experience that those in the midst of a separation or divorce can benefit from this book, because it isn't overwhelming. It gives straight-forward suggestions on steps to take toward healing. It can be read as a book, but is designed to be read daily as a devotion. It includes a scripture and a prayer for each day. I have shared many of them with friends that are in need. It really is helpful and a great aide in divorce recovery.
Mary Norris5 Stars Out Of 5February 6, 2009Mary NorrisThis book is 5 star all the way! I've been through recovery classes and I've got to say, this helped me and enlightened me more. It's laid out like a daily devotional, but I read it like a book. I couldn't put it down! The author's tell it like it is and definitely know what they're talking about! I would give this book to everyone I know who is either going through divorce now or has just finalized a divorce. Even if you've been divorced a year or two , you need this book! I always mention this book to people I know who are struggling with the pain and emotions of divorce. A+A+A+!!!!
