Tell us a little about yourself. Renee Smith Ettline is an award-winning author and founder of After Divorce Ministries, LLC. Her book, Peace after Divorce, has been recognized as an exemplary Christian self-help book by the 2013 Illumination Book Awards. She is also author of the Peace after Divorce group curriculum. Renees articles and books are known for their ability to empower and uplift the reader with a blend of Christian inspiration and practical help for everyday life. Renees blog offers insight into healing from divorce and can be found on the After Divorce Ministries website. She is stepmom to two daughters and lives in South Carolina with her forever husband, Fred, and their little Havanese dog.
What was your motivation behind this project? Renee has a heartfelt desire to help others heal from divorce because she knows firsthand the pain, grief, and adjustments of a failed marriage. As a Christian and a counselor, she also knows that healing is possible. Through her book Peace after Divorce she shares practical steps for coping with and healing from divorce reinforced with empowering passages from the Scriptures.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project? "Having God work through me to help people heal from divorce is humbling and enriching. Only through God's grace could the pain of my divorce be transformed into a meaningful ministry of helping others."
