Tell us a little about yourself. I was saved as a young man while pursuing a career in show business, after reading Hal Lindsey's 'Late Great Planet Earth.'
What was your motivation behind this project? After publishing my first book, 'When Now Becomes Too Late,' a probing search of the very moment of the imminent Rapture, I felt it would be helpful to publish an autobiographical narrative about my early days before becoming a Christian.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? My hopes are that readers will gain insight into the life that is part and parcel for many people who come to know Jesus. And that this understanding will encourage them in their walk with the Lord.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Writing 'Distant Reaches' was cathartic, as I was able to remember the life I came through to meet Jesus.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Winston Churchill, both as a writer and a man has inspired me greatly. Lee Strobel, Werner Gitt, and Tim Tebow are just a few of the people that have influenced and are influencing my life.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Meeting Jesus is the first and foremost experience to have for certain. Each reader should pray to Jesus that they may confirm themselves in a personal relationship with the Lord. Romans 10:13, Revelation 3:20 and I John 5:13 are excellent verses for readers to gain this most important relationship.
