Starnes points out the fallacy of Washington's craze in the so-called 'Political Correctness' agenda that is permeating all thought in the current White House. As I write this, the PC bathroom nonsense is heating up the airwaves. I certainly can relate to Starnes characterization of a Gun toting, Chicken eating, Son of a Baptist. May I add Bible toting.. Yes, I have a Bible, many in fact, and I find our founding Father's placed great value in the Bible, said so on MANY occasions, and relied on God for direction in the formation of this country. It's a shame our current lot of politicians in DC are not following along the same pathway. Great read from Mr. Starnes. WELL DONE ! A dozen stars or more !!
Jean Bray5 Stars Out Of 5Had to buy severalJanuary 8, 2015Jean BrayQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My husband originally read this book from the library. He enjoyed it so much that wanted me to buy it not only for himself but to pass on to others. At the great price CBD is offering it for, it makes a nice gift to give to someone who has conservative values.
Rev William H Kinney5 Stars Out Of 5Nothing Bitter About This WriterDecember 26, 2014Rev William H KinneyQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I bought this book because of the title. I enjoyed this book because of the writing. Though the book is political, the Christian prospective of Mr. Starnes and his sense of humor made this book a good read. President Obama calls people of faith "bitter" because we love the Lord and his Word, but he has no idea of the joy and victory that is found in true Biblical Christianity. Thanks Todd for a great book.
