I am a teacher planning on homeschooling my own children. Something that annoys me greatly is all the computer typing that children are expected to do in schools... and they don't have the basic skills to type efficiently! A lot of time is wasted at school in typing up the assignments as the children are still struggling to spell and then to find the keys. So I looked around at the various typing programs partly for my own teaching/tutoring and partly in mind for future teaching my own kids. I tested the game myself and overall am pretty happy with its content. Keep in mind that the story line you use your typing "magic" to undo the enchantments around the kingdom so keep in mind that you may have to reinterate that this kind of magic is makebelieve and not to encourage playing with magic (I've known of several people whose children got into real magic/occult as a consequence of harmless imagination with no reminders of where the line is) . There are multiple courses to select from, starting with the basic teaching of all the letters, others focus on numbers, extra keys etc. Then there are courses that you can select for practicing words/speed etc. It begins with instructions on the correct posture and the way to hold your hands correctly. There are extra practice games and a library where you can practice typing out short passages/paragraphs/stories from various Disney films. In settings, you can change your speed and accuracy goal to challenge yourself. The goal only can be set up between 40-80 WPM although a child can see if they are doing higher than that but just can't set the goal higher. Overall, I think it is a pretty good product with great resolution and quality graphics. The age suggestion of 6-12 is very fair, although a child of 12 may prefer something more sophisticated in content depending on their social maturity.

They program does not work with window 10. Made for windows 7 & 8 and xp which are not supported.
