Author Bio

Courtney Acampora holds a B.A. in art history from San Diego State University and a M.A. from the University of Arizona. Currently working in publishing, Courtney's lifelong love for both art and books fused together and gave her the opportunity to write and create engaging books for kids. Courtney lives in San Diego, California.  Haydee Yanez grew up in the border town of Tijuana, Mexico, enjoying the richness, colors, and flavors that both Californias have to offer. She studied graphic design at Universidad Iberoamericana and went on to design and illustrate a variety of bilingual content—from hospitality materials to children’s books. When she’s not designing, she spends time developing her own brand of Mexican icons, watching old movies, or cooking for her husband and Chihuahua.
