This is the third book in this Discovery series that we have purchased for my autistic son who is severe. We previously purchased the Beginnings II and Jesus My Shepherd, which typically contained 3-4 paragraphs of reading with multiple choice questions. We thought we would attempt this next level which is a block of a few verses in Scripture for the reading portion (complete with numbered verses) and with questions, a vocabulary box, key words in bold, phrase meaning box, and sometimes a map. Note to parents: the print in this book is a little smaller than the previous two books, which are for younger children.

this bible study has bible passage for the day and 10 questions directly from that passage. its word for word answers from the scripture. There are definitions below the text and some key words. what it is missing for me is cross references to other chapters and applications questions to what this means for me. it could use themes and history into the text.
