This book, while covering a lot, and containing fairly good material, is so poorly laid out it's ridiculous.

Frequent excercises have children consulting an atlas (not provided) to place things on a provided map. The problem is that the list of stuff to find and the provided map are always back-to-back....couldn't they have designed the book to they were on facing pages? To further complicate this issue, the paper is thin and low-quality, making the comstant page turning prematurely destroy the book.

The content of this book might merit 4/5 stars, but the design, printing, quality, and lay-out execution are so astonishingly substandard as to make it almost worthless. In order to even use the book, you almost have to tear out and three-ring-punch all the pages, the book is simply so low quality (in a physical sense) it will not stand up to its i tended purpose. Thankfully, the pages are perforated. It's the only saving grace.

This workbook works great if you have an enclyclopedia with maps of the world. Not all information is included in the workbook. You do have to search it out.

There is surprisingly very little text in this book. It is made up of worksheets. A good map is a must. We have found several type o's in the way things are pointed out and the directions can be at times, somewhat confusing. This is not a good fit for my son who struggles with reading comprehension and directions.I believe Geography doesn't have to be this "dry".

Looks good haven't used it yet. Found it hard to find a good, not over intensive geography workbook. I plan to use it with our United States History curriculum.

Extremely quick and uncomplicated for both students and parents, this geography workbook series is absolutely fabulous! Map skills plus historical, social, and polical aspects are all covered, as well as memorization of important geographical sites (ie: states, countries, capitals, etc). The simplicity of presentation plus the depth and scope of material covered excells any other workbook I've seen.
