Amy5 Stars Out Of 5It's great for homeschoolApril 23, 2018AmyQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0For those that say they don't like this, it is for children. I remember this coming on tv on Saturday nights over a decade ago. These are funny, on location, Christian history documentaries for children and families with a bent for homeschool. They even have a homeschool package. All the Drive Thru History videos are in order (which helps children see what is in their Bible come to life). I have an Autistic 10 year old, and he loves these. This is a very real way for me to show him that Jesus is in all of history, and how our founders believed God's Word. He loves the humor. Again, this isn't for those wanting a serious historical detailed account. This is a way to introduce history and God's Word to children of all ages. I would think the description and length of videos would make that clear. Anyway, I've enjoyed this for years, and hopefully the fact that they just came out with more episodes recently points the popularity of them. I cannot say enough! My Autistic son knows his history and loves history, and these videos helped him with that! THANK YOU DAVE STOTTS!

Yes, the narrator's humor is a bit corny- But, I believe these dvds were designed for kids and most kids will be ok with the humor. As an adult- please just bear with the narrator and ENJOY the history !! We had a group of mostly adults watching it and everyone liked it.
Stephanie5 Stars Out Of 5Discovering America's Founders DVDDecember 7, 2016StephanieQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0I wanted to write this review b/c of the reviewers who said the host's "humor" was distracting, corny. It's true, the humor is corny, but, for us, in a good way. We watch these shows to educate our children in an entertaining way. The corny humor adds an element of fun and lightheartedness for history education that could otherwise potentially be told in a very boring way. That said, all of the drive thru history dvds are packed with tons of detail and great visuals that make history come alive. We use them as a homeschool history supplement, and have watched them multiple times bc there is so much information to be learned.

There was to much silliness thrown in by the narrator. I would not refer others to get that documentary.
LisaAge: 45-54Gender: female1 Stars Out Of 5Very dissapointedNovember 30, 2015LisaAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0The "humor" in this Dvd is extremely distracting. It takes away from the message tremendously. In fact it should not be called humor- humor would be fine, but this is downright foolish--- nauseating.
If you want to see a good dvd with some of our history a WONDERFUL one is "Monumental" with Kirk Cameron,
