This book is and excellent guide that causes a man to: 1) examine exactly what a Godly man is, and 2) determine through intraspection where exactly he is in the transformation process to become more Christ like and have an intimate love relationship with God the Father. An excellent read that is both challenging and thought provoking.

This is the most transformative book on biblical discipline that I've read. Men face a lot of challenges on the daily, but we must learn to keep Jesus at the center of every struggle, every trial, every relationship. With scriptural support this book describes the particular struggles that men face and how to combet them in a biblical way. From David to Job to Joshua to Samuel....they all had trials and failures. They only failed when they weren't disciplined and in a loving relationship with God. Men, do yourself, your family, your neighbors, and your church a favor by reading this book and living the lessons learned.

I did not feel that this book flowed -- it left me with more questions than answers. There are moments within the book that made me think and helped me but there were many times where I did not follow his logic or get the point he was trying to make.
