HomeschoolingMom5 Stars Out Of 5Highly recommend this fun and engaging teaching tool!February 26, 2015HomeschoolingMomQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5As a homeschooling mother of 5, I enthusiastically recommend Dinosaurs on the Move by Cathy Diez-Luckie.
Our children were so excited about the whole process of making the dinosaurs...some wanted one to color and some wanted one already colored to make. Our 4 year old needed help cutting the figures out and aligning the pieces but colored them and put the brads in himself. Our 6,7, and 9 year children enjoyed working on the figures and now store them in freezer bags. Just today they pulled them out to show their Grandma, who was very impressed. They play with the figures together often. I like how the names of the dinosaurs are on the back of the figures. We have laminated some of them for extra durability since the children like to play with them. The heavy cardstock is so nice and the dinosaur artwork is very well done. You will not be disappointed with this product! The company's customer service is top-notch and quickly responded to my questions. I wavered at first about the cost and considered this product a fun extra...but now I consider it a must have if you can for your homeschool. I am thrilled that there is a product like this available and if I had know how fun it would be for my children (and me!) I would have gotten it sooner.
God Bless You Cathy Diez-Luckie and you, the reader :).
ReneeAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Great dinosaur activity without the evolutionMarch 31, 2014ReneeAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5These are great and the details are fabulous. It has ten different dinosaurs to make, but two versions of each, one colored and one blank for coloring, so a total of 20 dinosaurs to make in all. They are printed on card stock and the colors are brilliant, well worth the money. My 10 year old loves to make these and even his 17 year old brother finds an excuse to do them with him. I also love the fact that there are no "millions of years" in this book, it is so hard to find dinosaur activity books that are not saturated with evolution.
