Tell us a little about yourself. I am a Speaker, Counselor and Life Coach. I am passionate to see people thrive in their real life and relationships.
What was your motivation behind this project? My motivation for writing this book was observing how digitally dependent my 16 year old son had become. I started looking around and seeing we have been invaded! The digital world in many ways is holding us captive. This journey has been a personal one in helping my son engage in real life and coming to terms with my own digital addiction!
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? My desire is that everyone who reads this book will awaken to their relationship with technology and assess what technology has stolen from them and then reclaim their real life and relationships. Most importantly their intimate love relationship with God.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I have been challenged to manage my own digital usage and have realized how hard that truly is!
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My father Dr. Archibald Hart who I co-authored this book with has been such an inspiration to me! At 81 he is so wise and sharp as a tack!
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: This digital technology that has helped make our lives easier and more enjoyable is wonderful but must be managed or it will destroy the abundant God life has for each of us. I pray that God will give you wisdom as you learn how to be a good steward of your digital life.
