This book covers the topics that every Christian should know. And it does so in a concise yet informative way that engages the reader on a personal level. I own and use lots of other theological dictionaries, but I still benefit from this one. It would be an ideal resource for both personal and group study.

If you are looking for a theological dictionary that doesn't require a divinity degree to understand, look no further. This is wonderful little book that addresses relevant theological and cultural topics in a succinct way and gives you some references if you want to dig deeper. I bought this on sale, so it was a real find.

Some theological dictionaries contain lots of technical material that the average layman could not relate to, and therefore, they don't see how the information could relate in how they live their lives. This concise book bridges the gap by fulfilling what theology's main purpose is: to know God, and to live in the light of this knowledge for His glory.
