November 1517 and the 95 Thesis posted by Luther at Wittenburg had launched a Reformation which still

echoes today. The Lutherans were the shock force that kicked the doors down on the established church

at that time. All the more that such a reference Dictionary like this should be made public to understand

the historical situation with regards to theology, politics, economics, and international relations during that era.

This book is definitely the GO-TO Reference book for all things Lutheran. Early, Orthodox, Pietist,

Enlightenment, and American Lutheran ideology are firmly defined and discussed.

If you are a Lutheran pastor, seminary student, or a scholar, yep, this book can only contribute

significantly to your outreach and ministry....Buy it!

Definitely belongs in the reference section of all Lutheran College and Seminary libraries.
