This book contains excellent exercises. It is thorough in its coverage of grammar and structure, and is strategically paced and organized. That it uses passages straight from Scripture is bonus. It is not a religious text, it is a grammar and structure study; the scripture passages present an opportunity for further instruction that breaks the doldrums of lesson time. The author could clearly have produced an excellent exercise book using any literary source for sentences.

I considered giving fewer stars for "meets expectations," because I expected to be less pleased than I am.

I have two children off to college and three still learning at home. We all use this book. It's the best on the market.
